Hello everyone reading me and welcome to my first question.
I am curious to hear opinions from people who took part to workshops with me, people who have been practicing these methods for some time but also from people who never have but might be curious about it and would like to share opinions and perspectives on the topics I propose.
I think Rope Manipulation has the potential to and should become a branch of aerial rope practice. Like Rolling Technique or Dynamics, for instance.
Do you think there is space and time for people to practice creativity through AND on rope? How do we feel about practicing our own creativity and self expression daily? Do we do that? If not, why do we prioritize athletic training? Do we feel that we benefit from one more than the other? Does practicing creativity, does it take time away from what we have to do? Is it a priority or a secondary type of training?
These are some of the questions I ask myself.. with many more, of course! I tried to keep it short :D
As someone whose work is focused on officializing and developing Rope Manipulation methods, I am curious to hear your opinions. Feel free to raise more questions as well. Your thoughts are very important for me at this stage. I am currently writing a book about Rope Manipulation, therefore your thoughts and experiences are super important. Thanks!
